K-12 Field Trips

The Center for Brooklyn History offers field trips that connect students to their local history and make the archive a more inclusive space for young learners. These engaging inquiry-based programs for K-12 students promote critical thinking, primary source analysis, research skills, and hands-on learning. Each visit includes time in our beautiful Othmer Library, where students can view historical documents and artifacts firsthand. Through immersive activities and explorations, students deepen their understanding of key historical themes rooted in Brooklyn’s past.
