Join us at the Center for Brooklyn History for a crash course in New York City History Day (NYCHD). NYCHD is the regional contest for National History Day, a program where students in grades 6-12 create projects based on original historical research and analysis. Learn how to incorporate History Day into your curriculum, get insight into the 2026 History Day theme, "Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History," and get tips and tricks on helping your students find archival and primary sources. This workshop is for teachers just beginning to participate in NYCHD and teachers who have been mentoring students for years! Snacks and CTLE credits provided.
