About the Artist:

Yuriy Groysman was born and raised in Moldova where his early artistic sensibility was shaped alongside a lifelong commitment to service. A professional

Army man who rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel, Groysman immigrated to the United States in 1998, working in the New York State Department of

Transportation. He graduated from art school in Moldova, later continuing his studies at Bridgeview School of Fine Arts in Queens, New York.

Across the Years, Across the Sea presents a deeply personal journey through memory, discipline, and quiet observation. Groysman has carried the

precision, restraint, and endurance of military life into his visual language. Art has remained his constant companion and his works reside in numerous

private collections in France, Portugal, Israel, Moldova and the U.S.

Moving across borders and decades, the paintings of Groysman reflect both inner landscapes and distant shores. He dedicates this exhibition to his loving

family who inspired him to see beauty in perseverance, to paint through change, and to remain connected across years and across the sea.
